A monster is born! Here is the Google Pixel 9 performance test

Ana sayfa / News

The performance test results of the Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL series new flagship smartphones with the Tensor G4 processor have been revealed. The new Tensor G4 processor consists of a total of 8 cores in a 1+3+4 configuration. This time, the gap in the AnTuTu tests has widened significantly. So, how did the Pixel 9 series manage to outpace the previous series so much? Here are the details…

In this configuration, there is one Cortex-X4 performance core (3.1 GHz), three Cortex-A720 performance-efficiency cores (2.6 GHz), and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores (1.95 GHz). The previous generation Tensor G3 processor had a 1+4+4 structure, meaning the new configuration offers more optimized performance and efficiency.

According to AnTuTu tests conducted by Rozetked, the Pixel 9 series showed a significant performance increase compared to the previous generation. The Pixel 9 scored 1,071,616 points, surpassing the Pixel 8’s 900,000 points. The Pixel 9 Pro scored 1,148,452 points, beating the Pixel 8 Pro’s 1,142,984 points. The highest score was achieved by the Pixel 9 Pro XL with 1,176,410 points.

Color options for the Google Pixel 9 series leaked!

The color options for the Google Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold have been leaked. Here are the expected colors for Pixel 9 series.

The new Cortex-X4 core, also used in the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, offers 15% better performance than the Tensor G3. In terms of energy efficiency, a 40% improvement has been achieved. The Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores are about 20% more efficient in resource management.

The Tensor G4 appears to be Google’s last processor developed with Samsung. With the Pixel 10 and Tensor G5, Google plans to shift the manufacturing process to TSMC. This change means Google could offer more efficiency and performance in its future processors.

The performance and efficiency innovations of the Pixel 9 series seem to meet users’ expectations. What do you think about the new Pixel 9 series? Do you think these performance increases and efficiency improvements are sufficient? Don’t forget to share your comments with us…
